Costumer Critiques
this item functions really nicely on effortless plastered walls but if like me you are attempting to paint on blown vinyl or other textured surfaces it becomes really labour intensive as you require to use very a bit of pressure and the roller is fairly heavy when loaded. The edging tool also performs poorly on these surfaces i located a modest roller significantly more practical for edging. I had no difficulty receiving the paint to come throuh the roller as i utilized BQs cheap paint i did not have to have to water it down as it was really thin already like the consistancy of cold tinned custard . I did on the other hand discover that it covered evenly and i only required 1 coat which was excellent, an additional plus was that it did not drip and i was able to leave furniture etc uncovered.
I purchased this roller especially for a project I was about to get started. I read the reveiws, took in what they stated, very good and poor and decided to give it a go. I really like it. I watered the paint down, which induced no problem. I only half filled the roller to stay clear of the weight trouble others experienced and went for it Worked perfectly, remarkable covereage and it only took me 15 minutes to do the complete wall, no mess, no splatter. The wall was dry in about an hour and shows no patchy bits at all. I can't say how impressed I am with this tool, it is wall painting produced simple and easy!
I didn't get on that properly with the edge tool, it was ok but I would say there is a knack to it which comes with plenty of practice, something that your common DIY decorator does not get.
I extremely suggest this tool but I would say to any person buying, read the negative evaluations before you use it, take onboard what they say and understand by their complications with working with it then you'll be fine.
